  Licensing Act 2003 Mandatory Conditions

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises the supply of alcohol

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              The supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

   

  Mandatory condition where Door Supervisors are provided

   

  Where a premises licence includes a condition that one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, they must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.

   

   

• ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  General

   

  All staff are trained in the appropriate legislation.

   

  Between 23.00 and 07.00, alcohol will only be sold or supplied to hotel residents and their bona fide guests.

   

  The prevention of crime and disorder

   

  Advice will be taken from local Police in relation to local concerns.  The premises operate primarily as a Hotel and other licensable activity is purely ancillary to that use.

   

  Public safety

   

  The company is fully aware of its responsibilities in relation to Health & Safety.

   

  The prevention of public nuisance

   

  If required, notices will be displayed reminding patrons to leave quietly and respect the local residential amenity.

   

  The protection of children from harm

   

  All under-16s will be accompamied by an adult in areas where licensable activity takes place.
