ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
Alcohol will only be sold from the premises as part of a mobile delivery to an address outwith the premises. This delivery must include food.
Alcohol deliveries will be subject to the conditions of Challenge 25. At the time of ordering customers will be made aware of the need to provide proof of age such as a passport, photo driving licence or PASS approved card. This must be shown to the delivery driver if the person appears to be under 25 years of age.
Prevention of crime and disorder
The CCTV system will operate to cover all internal areas that licensable activities take place. Access to the system should be allowed immediately to the Police, Trading Standards or Local Authority officers in accordance with the Data Protection Act where it is necessary to do so for the prevention of crime and disorder, prosecution or apprehension of offenders or where disclosure is required by law.
A competent person, trained in the use of and operation of the CCTV will be in attendance at the premises at all times that licensable activities take place and be able to fully operate the CCTV system to be able to download in a recognised format any information requested by the Police.
The images recorded by the CCTV system shall be retained in unedited form for a period of not less than 30 days.
An incident register of all occurrences and ejections from the premises will be maintained at the premises and any details of public order offences will be recorded together with a refusals log to record any refusals of sales of alcohol. The register will be produced and made available for inspection upon request by a responsible authority.
All persons involved in the sale of alcohol who are not the holders of a personal licence to sell alcohol will receive initial and regular refresher training with regards to the law in relation to the sale of alcohol.
Challenge 25 will be operated at the premise whereby all persons who appear to be under 25 and purchasing or attempting to purchase alcohol will be asked to provide identification to prove they are over 18 years of age.
The only acceptable forms of identification allowed will be a valid passport, valid photo ID driving licence or valid proof of age scheme card with the PASS approved hologram.
Challenge 25 signage to be displayed at the entrance to the premises and at the cash till payment area.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
Emergency lighting and fire extinguishers will be installed in the premises.
Fire exits will be kept free of impediment or obstacle during all operating hours.
Deliveries to the premises will only be made during normal opening hours and not between 10pm and 7am the following day.
Bottles and similar goods will not be handled outside the premises between 10pm and 7am the following day.
Bins shall not be emptied outside the premises between 10pm and 7am the following day.
Cooking smells will be vented from the premises.
Customers will be advised to use litter bins. Staff will tidy up outside in the vicinity of our premises at the end of each business day.
Protection of Children from Harm
Any child under 16 years of age will not be allowed on the premises after midnight unless accompanied by an adult.
A Challenge 25 policy will be adopted as described above.
