• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  Licensing Act 2003 Mandatory Conditions

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises the supply of alcohol

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              The supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

  Mandatory condition where Door Supervisors are provided

   

  Where a premises licence includes a condition that one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, they must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.

   

   

• ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  General

   

        The application is for off sales only and staff will be well versed regarding the licensing objectives and the law in relation to sales.

   

  The prevention of crime and disorder

   

        Staff will assist police in all crime enquiries that occur in the immediate vicinity of the premises.

        All members of staff shall ensure that all lawful instructions and/or directions given by the police are complied with.

   

  Public safety

   

        Any spillages on shop floor will be cleaned immediately and warning signs placed out.

        Exit doors will be kept clear of obstruction at all times.

        A fire risk assessment will be completed to the satisfaction of Cumbria Fire Service.

   

  The prevention of public nuisance

   

        Staff will ensure that any litter found immediately outside the premises is removed.

        Refuse shall be disposed of from the premises at a time when it is not likely to cause a disturbance to residents in the vicinity of the premises.

   

  The protection of children from harm

   

         Any child under 18 yrs attending the premises must be accompanied by an adult.
