ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The prevention of crime and disorder
All crimes committed on the premises will be reported to the police.
Staff will always give assistance in relation to any police enquiry.
A tamper proof CCTV system shall be installed at the premises in liaison with and to the satisfaction of the Cumbria Police Licensing and Community Safety Officers and shall be used to record during all hours that a licensable activity takes place on the premises. This shall include a camera covering the front of the premises in Abbey Street.
Where CCTV equipment is fitted, it shall be maintained in good working order in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
The images recorded by the CCTV system shall be retained in unedited form for a period of not less than 31 days.
Public safety
A suitable fire risk assessment will be completed to the satisfaction of Cumbria Fire Service.
Any spillages will be cleaned immediately and warning signs placed out.
The prevention of public nuisance
All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when regulated entertainment is being provided except in the event of an emergency and to provide access and egress to the premises.
Regulated entertainment will not take place in the outside yard area.
No nuisance shall be caused by noise coming from the premises or by vibration transmitted through the structure of the premises.
The noise level from the premises whilst being used for public entertainment purposes, shall not cause nuisance to noise sensitive dwellings in the vicinity.
Customers will not be permitted to consume alcohol outside the front of the premises which includes the designated smoking area.
Customers will be informed by staff, and a notice will be displayed at the exit of the premises, reminding customers to be quiet when leaving and respect local residents.
The protection of children from harm
Any child entering the premises must be accompanied by an adult and in accordance with the Licensing Act 2003.
