ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
To operate the premises as a traditional village public house providing alcohol and food with a supply of soft drinks and beverages to cater for the village community and it's environs, and also for visitors to the area, on a traditional family run basis with the provision of entertainment and other events as and when appropriate or required.
The prevention of crime and disorder
The Premises Licence Holder shall ensure that any crime or disorder at the premises is reported to Cumbria Constabulary.
No drink shall be removed from the premises in an unsealed container.
A tamper proof CCTV system shall be installed at the premises in liason with and to the satisfaction of the Cumbria Police Licensing and Community Safety Officers and shall be used to record during all hours that a licensable activity takes place on the premises.
Where CCTV equipment is fitted, it shall be maintained in good working order in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
There shall be in place for the premises a written admissions policy to prevent the sale or supply of alcohol to persons under 18yrs of age. That policy shall require any person who appears to be under the age of 18yrs to produce a recognised proof of age card(PASS), a citizen card supported by the Home Office, a photo driving licence, a passport or official HM Forces or EU ID card bearing photo and date of birth.
A notice or notices shall be displayed in and at the entrance to the premises where they can be clearly seen and read and shall indicate that it is unlawful for persons under 18yrs to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18yrs of age.
Public safety
The Premises Licence Holder shall maintain a Fire Risk Assessment to the satisfaction of Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service.
The prevention of public nuisance
The noise level from the premises whilst being used for entertainment purposes shall not cause nuisance to noise sensitive dwellings in the vicinity.
The Premises Licence Holder or his representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises on every occasion the premises are used for regulated entertainment and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause a disturbance to local residents.
No nuisance shall be caused by noise coming from the premises or by vibration transmitted through the structure of the premises.
All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when regulated is being provided except in the event of an emergency.
There shall be placed a dispersal policy/warden scheme in place to assist dispersal of clientele from the area in a swift, efficient and safe manner. Notices will be displayed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
Refuse such as bottles shall be disposed of from the premises at a time when it is not likely to cause a disturbance to residents in the vicinity of the premises.
The protection of children from harm
The admission of children to a film exhibition shall be restricted in accordance with Section 20 Licensing Act 2003.
