ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
We will protect our staff and customers from danger and harm
Food and drink will not be served in glass receptacles
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
The restaurant staff will work in partnership with Cumbria Constabulary to prevent crime and disorder
CCTV is in operation to assist Police with the prevention and detection of crime. Signs reflecting this information will be displayed
The CCTV equipment will be of a standard suitable to record images of a proper quality, will reach industry standards and have Kalagate certification
Cumbria Constabulary will have access to the CCTV system upon request
All shift managers will have safety and security training
Public Safety
Systems will be in place and regularly reviewed to protect the safety of staff and customers
We will as far as reasonably practicable, comply with Health and Safety and Fire Safety legislation
All restaurant staff will receive comprehensive safety training to ensure that safe working methods are adopted. In addition staff will be trained in evacuation procedures in the event of a fire or other dangerous occurrence
The restaurant will operate a "No open alcohol containers" policy to prevent persons carrying open alcohol into the in-store area
Public Nuisance
We have litter patrols collecting McDonalds packaging and other litter within a certain radius of the restaurant
Our doors are self closing to limit noise nuisance and we try to encourage our customers to be considerate to our neighbours both when ordering food and on leaving the area
Protection of Children from Harm
We do not anticipate that children will use the restaurant during the extended hours period covered by this licence. We will however continue to employ the same practices to ensure that they are protected from harm at all times when visiting the restaurant
