ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
All staff will be trained in the premises licence holder's procedures which will include liquor licensing.
All checkout operators and their team trainers shall have additional training in the sale of alcohol.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
A tamper proof CCTV system shall be installed at the premises both internally and externally and shall be used to record during each trading period conducted at the premises
CCTV equipment shall be maintained in good working order in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
The images recorded by the CCTV system shall be retained in unedited form for a period of not less than 31 days and handed to a Police Constable or authorised person upon request.
There shall be in place for the premises a written policy to prevent the sale or supply of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age. That policy shall require any person who appears to be under the age of 25 years to produce a recognised proof of age card accredited under the Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS), a citizen card supported by the Home Office, a photo driving licence, a passport or official HM Forces or EU ID card bearing photo and date of birth. If the appropriate proof of age is not produced there will be no sale.
A notice or notices shall be prominently displayed where they can be clearly seen and read and shall advise customers of the Challenge 25 policy.
Public Safety
The premise licence holder seeks to comply with the requirements of the health and safety legislation.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
External CCTV system will be in place to deter anti social behaviour.
The Protection of Children from Harm
The store will have a till prompt system for age restricted products.
Adoption of Challenge 21 or similar proof of age scheme.
