1. A tamper proof CCTV system will be maintained at the premises and shall be used to record during all hours that a licensable activity takes place on the premises and will be used to record images to assist in the identification of individuals during all hours that the premises are open to the public.
2. The images recorded by the CCTV system shall be retained in unedited format for a period of not less than 31 days (subject to the Data Protection Act 1998). These will be available for inspection by authorised officers of the council and any police officer. A member of staff trained on how to work the CCTV and be able to download the content must be on duty during opening hours.
3. The CCTV system must be maintained, and all equipment attached to it or the system dependant on it; in full working order and any failure (camera / system) is reported immediately to the Licensing Authority / police.
4. An incident book will be kept at the premise in which details of crime and/or disorder and refusals relating to the premises shall be recorded. The incident book shall contain the following details.
a. time, date and location of incident.
b. nature of the incident
c. names, addresses and contact details of persons involved and brief description. If unable to obtain name and address a full description of person(s) involved.
d. the result of the incident.
e. each entry signed by a responsible person employed at the premises.
f. The incident book will be reviewed at least weekly by a responsible person and any required incident will be reviewed with an entry on steps taken to mitigate the incident happening again.
5. The incident book shall be made available to police, or authorised officers of the licensing authority, upon request. Each entry shall be retained for no less than a period of 12 months from date of completion.
6. All crimes committed within the premise must be reported to the police.
7. The premises will have a zero-tolerance policy towards drugs misuse.
8. A fire risk assessment will be completed to the satisfaction of Cumbria Fire & Rescue service.
9. All firefighting equipment will be maintained in good working order.
10. All fire exits will be always kept free from any obstructions, and no locks will be used, unless approved by Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service.
11. All spillages and breakages within the premises will be immediately cleaned and signed by staff in a record kept for that purpose.
12. No noise nuisance will be caused to neighbouring properties.
13. Bins will be emptied at a reasonable hour. Not after 10pm or before 8am.
14. Children under the age of 14 will not be allowed on the premises after 9pm.
15. Children will be required to always be supervised by a parent or guardian.
