General
Stapleton Public Hall Committee will ensure the legal,safe and smooth running of all events held in the hall.
The prevention of crime and disorder
A written policy statement is in place to prevent the sale of alcohol to persons under 18 yrs.
All crimes found committed within the premises will be reported to the police.
A notice will be displayed within the premises indicating that it is unlawful for persons under 18yrs to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18yrsof age.
Public Safety
The maximum capacity limit of the premises is 220 persons including staff.
A fire risk assessment is completed and will be to the satisfacion of Cumbria Fire Service
All fire fighting equipment will be regularily maintained.
All fire exits will be kept clear at all times.
Any spillages within the premises will be immediately cleaned to reduce the risks of accidents.
The prevention of public nuisance
All windows and doors will be kept closed during regulated entertainment to reduce the escape of noise.
No noise nuisance or vibration transmitted through the structure of the premises shall be caused to residents in the immediate vicinity of the premises.
The premises will be maintained in good condition and will be well lit.
A notice shall be displayed at the exit of the premises requesting patrons to leave the area in a quiet and orderly manner respecting the privacy of residents in the area.
The protection of children from harm
The admission of children to a film exhibition shall be restricted in accordance with Section 20 of Licensing Act 2003.
The film classification body for the purpose of this licence shall be the British Board of Film Classification.
The premises will operate a 'Challenge 21' policy for the sale of alcohol.
