  Licensing Act 2003 Mandatory Conditions

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises the supply of alcohol

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              The supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

  Mandatory condition where Door Supervisors are provided

   

  Any individual employed on the premises to carry out a security activity must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.

   

  Public Entertainment

  The Standard Conditions for Places of Public Entertainment adopted by this Council in 2002 are applicable to this licence and are attached.

   

  The accommodation limit of the premises, including public, staff and performers shall not exceed 142 persons for closely seated audiences and 70 persons for dancing and cabaret audiences using tables and chairs.

   

  Theatre Licence

  The standard conditions for a Theatre Licence are applicable as well as additional conditions A,FX,GO,K,S,SX and T.

   

   

• ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  General

   

  In general, the extension in licensing hours by 2 hours from 2300 to 0100 is not intended for our regular theatre audiences but to cover the friendly social relaxation that occurs after each of our seven productions in a year.  So it is not a regular weekly event but very sporadic.

   

  The prevention of crime and disorder

   

  Crime and disorder is not a problem.

   

  Public safety

   

  Public safety is not a problem.

   

  The prevention of public nuisance

   

  Theatre bar is below ground level, noise is absolutely minimal there and nil at street level.

   

  The protection of children from harm

   

  No children served alcohol here.

   

  Children appearing in annual pantomime will be chaperoned by County Council approved matrons.

   

  Dance school hirers make own arrangements.
