The Prevention of crime and disorder
The teacher in charge of any event will ensure that all lawful instructions are complied with.
CCTV is installed on the premises.
The maximum number in the hall will not be exceeded.
Public safety
Safe evacuation proceedures are in place and visitors will be made aware of these.
Fire exits will be kept clear at all times.
All upholstry and furnishings are fire retardant.
Fire notices are prominently displayed.
First Aid equipment will be available.
Emergency lighting and all electrical equipment is regularly checked.
Prevention of public nuisance
The hall is accousticaly soundproofed to prevent noise leakage and exit doors will be kept closed
We will be sensitive to the needs of our local residents and will ensure noise levels will not cause any disturbance.
Large waste bins will be located on site and will be collected twice per week.
The protection of children from harm
Strict guidlines and proceedures will be in operation for the safeguarding of children.
